Short Answers
Q: What are your skating goals, both short-term and long-term?
I skated the past 14 years as a synchronized skater achieving the privilege to skate at the Junior and Senior level. I have represented Team USA internationally and most recently, a National Senior Pewter Medalist. Throughout my skating career, my love was for Ice Dance. Unfortunately, my family was not able to relocate and we did not want to split our family when I was younger. However, I finally live in Detroit, the best city to skate ice dance. I would like to find a partner to compete this year, place at Sectionals and compete at Nationals. Further, long-term goals are to compete as a Team USA athlete representing the United States internationally.
Q: What qualities do you possess that would make you a good partner?
I skate 15-20 hours, and condition twice a week. I am a dedicated disciplined skater that commuted 1 to 1 1/2 hours for over 7 years for lessons and team practice. This year is the first time in 14 years that I have lived in a city with a rink. I am a heart-felt individual, with persverance working harder
than many of my cohort skaters.
Extra comments:
I am blessed to be coached by Tim McKernan, Jamie Whyte, Susie Wynne, Jodie Balogh-Tasich, Eve Chalom, and Rob Peal. They all have developed and mentored me from a young age. My wish would be to actually be able to focus on ice dancing full time.
