Short Answers
Q: What are your skating goals, both short-term and long-term?
Short-term to compete internationally and qualify for the Junior Grand Prix Circuit with a long-term view of competing successfully at a senior level. I would however consider moving to Senior for the right partner and coaching team. I am happy to skate for another nation - my last ISU competition for GBR was November 2016.
Q: What qualities do you possess that would make you a good partner?
I am a hard worker and take on feedback well which I then use to improve my skating further. I have skated with a partner since the age of 10 and understand the compromises needed to make a partnership work. I need a partner who will match my commitment to training and will share my passion for ice dance. I have a consistent approach.
My family are very supportive and will help me to achieve my goals.
Extra comments:
I started skating a few months before my 9th birthday and fell in love with the ice! I have been fortunate to have been able to skate with my twin brother consistently for 6 years; I have benefited from being mentored by Joan Slater MBE, attending ISU Ice Dance Camps and being part of the UK Talent Potential Squad. I am a Team Riedell skater https://ice.riedellskates.com/skaters.
I am taking A Levels currently and would be in a position to relocate fully after my exams in 2018 for the 2018/19 season shared location training would be a possibility for 2017/18 season.
My love for skating has been further strengthened this season by competing internationally and I am looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities ahead.
I’d like to try-out if you do so please reach out via me or my coach.
