Q: What are your skating goals, both short-term and long-term?
Short-term: Find a partner who is willing to work hard and strives to compete at both the national and international level.
Long-term: Have a lasting partnership where we are able to grow as a team and have success at both the national and international level.
Q: What qualities do you possess that would make you a good partner?
I am a very hard worker, always excited and willing to learn new things! I make sure to pay attention to the details in my skating and use the critiques I receive to better my skating. Although my pairs experience is limited, I pick up on things quickly. I know how to track a partner, do single throws, side-by-side elements, and the basics of pair spins and death spirals. I have also done off-ice lifts. In addition, I have a lot of experience competing singles through the numerous seasons of US Figure Skating’s National Qualifying Series that I have competed in. I am currently competing in singles at the junior level to continue developing my skills as a singles skater, but I would really love to start focusing on and competing pairs!
