Q: What are your skating goals, both short-term and long-term?
As I have grown in singles skating, I have realized how much I enjoy the performance aspect of skating and the ice dance skills I have been learning. My short term goal is to find a partner to grow with and learn more partnered ice dancing. My longer term goals are to make National Development team and eventually Team USA.
Q: What qualities do you possess that would make you a good partner?
I am very coachable and make corrections well from my coaches. I am competitive and a very hard worker on and off the ice. Playing two instruments has given me musicality and an appreciation of rhythm and performance through music. I have learned to skate with and synchronize with other skaters through shows. I am not afraid to try new things as recently I have tried and done well in club track events (high jump, triple jump, middle distance runs) with my off ice trainer.
Extra comments:
I am an overall strong skater having qualified and competed at Midwestern Sectionals the past three seasons, the first two at juvenile girls and this past season at intermediate ladies. I play harp and violin.
