Q: What are your skating goals, both short-term and long-term?
My short-term goals are to continue competing in solo ice dance in both the USFS Solo Dance series and ISU International competitions. For the 2026 season my goal is to qualify for the Solo Dance Final for the sixth consecutive season. I will be competing in the Junior Combined event. After graduating high school, I plan to continue competing, preferably with a partner. My long term goal is to find a partner to compete with on the world and Olympic stage.
Q: What qualities do you possess that would make you a good partner?
I am kind and easy to get along with. I work hard but have a good sense of humor and like to have fun. I am open to new ideas and adapt to change easily. I learn choreography quickly and have good musicality. I like to collaborate with my coaches and have good relationships with them. I am resilient and possess the determination to bounce back after disappointment.
Extra comments:
While dance is my primary focus, I have continued to free skate. My plan is to take my Pre-Gold (junior) and Gold (senior) free skate tests over the next year to be completed by the time I graduate high school. I train on the ice approximately 12-14 hours per week. I work two days a week with a strength and conditioning coach. I have a strong background in studio dance, having danced several years with teams in ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and tap. I have continued my ballet training but chose skating over the requirements of the dance studio.
